The Social Impact Buildfest is a weekend-long hackathon run by students of the Texas Immersive Institute at the University of Texas at Austin. Participants are tasked with forming teams, ideating, building out, and presenting an immersive experience that address social issues like mental health and wellness, race visibility, and specific needs of students with disabilities.
